There are few sequels that out do the first book, but Tolle did it.  Somehow he managed to distill the best from multiple philosophies and faiths.  He wipes away the dogma to show what could really be achieved. The power in this book comes when Tolle explains how to transcend our ego to enable us to achieve happiness and end conflict and suffering in this world. This is Chopra's best work. It provides the whole story of how Chopra perceives the spirit and the path to enlightenment. This book does a wonderful job of explaining illusion and how we create it in our life and how we can overcome it. Chopra avoids eastern jargon and provides analogies westeners can easily relate to.  Chopra is good friends with Wayne Dyer and you can see Dyers influence on Chopra in this book.  There is a wonderful synergism between these two authors.
