Imposed health issues and the project Earth
I'd like to take on something which usually no one thinks of - that any health (that is, body) issues are:
1. part of plan for the incarnation
2. easily imposed on a particular individual
In ancient times people even believed that the length of the particular life span can be predicted (and is set upfront). And part of this knowledge - a distant echo of much richer past - remained to this day. They also believed that extra-terrestials (called deities or spirits) are the main reason for any diseases. I don't know if it's reliable about determined life-span, although it seems to be logical since the incarnations are planned, however the general idea is clear: human being has been designed to have many problems, one of the primary problem being health.
Notice that animals generally do not suffer from diseases, this cases are rare, and even if so, they get healthy in a natural way. All animals are either strong, has physical endurance, or are agile and fast. If an animal such as crocodile is unhealthy on very rare occasion (very unlikely), it doesn't need medicine - a science or knowledge telling them how to get better. So why human being is the only case that is different from millions of species?
But we know now that as tiny thing as a molecule, DNA, in a small cell can change many things, including health, not just during the birth, but also anytime later. In a way, I think that ancient people's beliefs were telling the truth about so-called spirits - non-physical entities - being responsible for diseases and - often sudden or fast - getting back to good.
People tend to forget that reincarnation system must be managed - by certain entities. I'm entirely sure that there happened several things in meanwhile (several thousands of years), leading to the current situation in modern times, so that we were thinking that health issues (and, thus, death resulting from them) are all coincidental, while they are not, they are caused by "spirits" (extra-terrestials) who are entirely aware of what happens here with every single human being. Here's a brief outline of the events:
the previous advanced civilization, usually called Atlantis, has sunk
this caused the civilization reset, but most importantly it returned people to the barbarian state, resulting in lost knowledge about the universe that the previous civilization had
in ancient times - not that distant btw - that we know from the history handbooks some remnants of this knowledge survived, but often took a form of a rigid and inflexible tradition - a heritage from "those from the sky" or from "the far distant past", as ancient people were indicating
this led, as one of consequences IMO, to take responsibility by human being for themselves, not to wait for "gods help"
and this includes also health issues, resulting in creating quite a weird discipline: medicine
Note that medicine in most cases in ancient times, in particular before Ancient Greece, were unchangeable. These were Greek nature philosophers, being often also doctors, who changed views on medicine in a way that is still the basis of general thought today. Greek scholars had very strong influence on early science and culture just before another civilization reset, when Ancient Rome conquered the rest of the ancient world and destroyed the ancient heritage. Medicine became thus technical, and health issues were less and less considered to have the supernatural origin.
Medicine is really strange and different from all other disciplines, it is very non creative field (unlike, say, physics or biology - especially with the DNA manipulations), and at the same time very pragmatic: applied theory how to "get better", or not "get worse". Yet, the ancient theory is just a fraction of once much larger knowledge, so although natural medical systems such as Ayurveda have a lot to offer or supplement much more technical modern medicine, they are all partial knowledge of once larger science.
But the problem is that our endeavors in getting healthy all seem to be inefficient. We are kept in an illusion here on Earth that our primitive science and fraction of old tradition is sufficient to control our health. But medicine is one of the hardest disciplines to prove anything, also in science - we just are not told that officially. There are tons of scientific attempts to prove that e.g. certain drug is helping in getting rid of particular issue, a message on this fact is often publicized by articles in medical magazines, and typically the case is silenced in the following weeks or months, without any conclusion that this was another miss.
I'm afraid that it is not just modern medicine, but also so called alternative medicine. See, a human being has been created as a combination of the psyche and soma (physical body) - and there must be a way to communicate between both (the ability to influence your physical body by your mind), otherwise matter and mind couldn't connect - and thus there was no reincarnation on the material planet. This of course leaves also the question of (ab)using this possibility of affecting physical body of an unaware living person by other minds or spirits than the incarnated one, including those who manage the reincarnation system. I'm not talking about possession, but about the possibility of controlling human organisms. If we were honest to ourselves, we should ask: how much conscious influence or control do we have over our own physical bodies?
So, to sum up, there's really no good proof that any kind of medicine does its job, at least sufficiently. But there are tons of evidences, like weird cases of patients (for whom the physical issues seem to "magically" be turned on and off) or very quick and sudden healing cases, that suggest that we are not told the truth, but kept in illusion that these are we who are in total command of our bodies. We are missing essential information on the situation on the Earth that exceeds far beyond medicine and health issues, something experienced by actually every person in the world with few exceptions - we are put on the Earth without having a real idea about the context, with very short life spans, which potentially could be much longer - but in DNA and the human organism there are two programs: for growing, but also for dying, along with corresponding hormones. Death and physical issues are inherent in the very design of the human being organism, they are not coincidental but a part of deliberate program and plan. This is why I think ancient people were actually right. The suffering from health issues, and all other issues, is the part of the plan for humanity. Will we remain forever without any knowledge and ideas about this context? I'm certain that we won't, but the thing is that the mental program for masses is so strong that it creates an illusion of knowledge, an obstacle that makes people thinking that they "know" (e.g. atheists believing in "nothing after death", reincarnation-believers believing in a variant of hindu old karma-related beliefs, christian beliefs in the heaven, being actually a much simpler version of an ancient belief in multiple hierarchical heavens, and so on), while we know virtually nothing.
