Universe in balance

Ancient metaphysical, and not only metaphysical, also e.g. medical, texts all tell about keeping everything in balance - whether it's keeping the entire universe (the macrocosm) in balance, or just a human being (the microcosm).

Typically it is understood in this way: there are 4 elements (water, fire, earth and air), and balancing each other is required for the system, like a physical body being equally nurtured by all 4 elements. So fire cannot be too dominant so that all water turned into a vapor in the body, and vice versa water cannot be overly dominant so that the temperature in the body was high enough for the processing in the system, the body. Ancient scholars presented it as a system of interconnected dualities - opposites need to be kept always in balance. This works for a micro scale and for a macro scale - or to quote a famous saying "as above so below".

This is the most mundane, straightforward understanding of balance. But ancient texts also referred to or at least suggested other types of balances, speaking of such systems as monarchy (administration), social (people) and an economical system. For example, regardless tendencies and preferences for one system over another by a particular person (like socialism or capitalism), which probably comes from their basic needs and current views on reality, the actual system must be kept also in balance, otherwise it would be disrupted and - if the unbalanced situation lasts for too long - ultimately the system breaks down. I think politicians are aware of that in a way, that there are multiple "factors" - opposing factors affecting a country (an isolated system in large part), and pulling one string outbalances the opposite one. On this planet, which as I stated before is primitive i.e. not advanced, the social system is probably now the most important system for learning (in past it was different, the physical system of nature against human civilization had more important meaning) - let's take for example a typical person, being an employee (not an employer), an average person thinks in this way: I need money, but I really don't want to go on monday to work (damn, it's tommorow!) actually it'd be even better if the weekend started on friday... so they're deliberately put in this conflict, being actually the time conflict (time being the most ultimate resource, I guess), a seven-days interval, where their feelings say "oh no, I want to do something else", but the situation is: no money, no life (at least in the current civilization). :)

Chinese medical texts often likened the human body to the administrating of a country, to create the picture of how it works and to give reference points to students.

This is the universal knowledge that was attempted to be applied in many fields. Only recently, in Europe after disrupting events resulting from the Roman empire dominating over all ancient countries sticking to their old traditions, or in China about 100 years ago when the chapter of the thousands-years old Chinese empire has been suddenly closed - and the old traditions have been forbidden by the new communist government, this ancient metaphysical knowledge about universal laws that rule both cells of a human organism as well as the entire galaxies, have been forgotten or forbidden (as, btw, prophecies told), i.e. the inquisition never have gone, it just changed its label. ;) This knowledge, although applies to direct and visible aspects, such as metabolism and cells, or to a solar system, is not physical but metaphysical, i.e. abstract and mental in its nature: there are millions of different counter-balancing aspects (universal laws) that we have been not told and didn't learn about yet in the history of human kind, and part of this universal knowledge is well known by e.g. adepts of hermetism: the universal, metaphysical meaning of basic numbers - number 2 being most well understood.

Keeping this in mind, I'm certain that at least our universe is sort of a sandbox of systems above other systems (like the Earth system, being currently also the reincarnation system) created and designed for learning - on all levels, not just on the physical Earth level. :) Laws of the universe are in most hidden - they are to be discovered "in time", and in meanwhile all beings on all levels (this includes of course those managing the Earth system) fall into pitfalls showing that there is still knowledge about the universe that is beyond the current understanding. So, one could ask, is the universe all about learning? IMO only in part, and partly - not. Some beings in the universe may outbalance themselves toward constant learning, leaving all the opposites smothered, only to learn that overbalancing learning leads to a disaster, I think.
