OBE and the army
There is a weird silence around this subject. Perhaps it'd change in the upcoming years like it is with the official declarations about UFO now by the governments. But I think we can assume that the army knows about the phenomena but deliberately doesn't want to speak about it - of course I don't mean a regular soldier folks but the highest management in the army.
Probably all heard about the programs (projects) related to governmental/military research on ESP, part of which OBE is. You probably also know that Robert Monroe, most recognized OBE traveler, when he founded his institution for researching OBE, mind and related matters, had US government and in particular its military circles as his clients. Certainly money gained from taxes in large part goes to research in the army, part of which are later programs launched after they visited the Robert Monroe's institution. This was in the 70s and 80s. Then these research programs were officially closed and seemingly the US government never came back to them. This is the official part.
The truth is that these programs seemed to be just a meaningless episode in the history of the US army (and other governments in the world). It's like they were saying:
"oh yeah, we cannot deny that there were spectacular results by people having promising ESP abilities, but no, we decided that they show no much value and the results are not reliable enough, so we dump all programs, so good bye ESP and hello traditional troops on which we can always count". :)
Really? :P Do they think that we are that dumb? I think the question rather should be: how the true research behind a closed doors of governmental secret barracks does look like today, after at least 3 decades when these official programs were closed? How much money do they invest/ed into it, since having reliable ESP possibilities could lead to a significant advantage known never before? Did they achieve any progress in this time? They obviously are afraid of people who might posses such abilities, how do they approach such people? They probably still look for people with significant abilities, perhaps around Tibet and surrounding countries, of course not saying to public about their true goals.
I think the next decades will be very interesting. There is obviously much more going on around us that we used to think.
