Energy Work

I am weaker now

Hello AD friends,

I've been doing energy work for at least 6 months now with the exercises from Robert's books, and have been taking care of myself not to overdo it.

It has been very eye-opening and I am enjoying the ride.

A few things I have noticed:

  1. I feel more aware and grounded, which is great.

  2. I also feel more tired and sometimes overcompensate by eating more.

  3. At the same time, I get satiated with a lot less food and need to control myself not to over eat.

  4. Sometimes I also felt a lot of brain fog...

In Energy Work, Robert teaches that this is normal, because the body's maximum energy capacity increases and so we require more energy to "feel well", but I feel like this has been going on for a long time... maybe I am not getting enough sleep as I need? Usually I sleep between 6-8 hours a night.

One of my goals is to actually reduce the amount of hours of sleep (to a solid 5 or 6 and feel great) if possible.

Am I getting something wrong, like overdoing the exercises?

Maybe I am not meditating as much as I should?

I have usually been able to meditate a maximum of 10-15 minutes. Some people say that meditating before going to sleep makes you need less sleep. Can someone confirm this?

Has anyone experienced anything similar?

Sorry for the barrage of questions and thanks for reading!

Many blessings!

What you are saying makes a lot of sense. Sometimes I try to meditate to fall asleep (like counting down from 30 breaths to 0) or use keep myself as awake as I can so I can lucid dream.

Maybe it's best to just try to relax to the fullest and simply let go as you said. I will also try meditating more.

I feel inspired and encouraged to continue, thanks for the help Jesse.
