A few thoughts and observations

* Going through my hands and feet worked really well. I woke up some parts that seem to have been mostly sleeping (in comparison).


* A few days ago, I tried to really push myself and see how fast I could draw energy into the sub navel storage area. This made me go from feeling some minor twitches to major twitches and cramped muscles.

This made it difficult to relax for some reason. On the plus side, I can probably count it as physical exercise.

I was only able to do it for a few seconds at a time, and it was easier to not get as overloaded when I focused on drawing to the sub navel storage area (with that area being the focus) rather than pushing to it from my hands and feet.

(I should probably not push myself that hard again for a while. I'm going much slower now.)


* Doing split focus or generally focusing on larger areas makes it easier to not get overloaded.


* The most success I've had with increasing the activity in any chakra/path, whether minor or major, is a version of the tearing action. I find an area where a chakra or a pathway seems to be, and make it inflate like a balloon.


* This is not covered by the guide (unless I missed it), but since ear acupuncture exists I thought I should check if I could feel anything in/on my ears. After a lot of focusing, I could feel a little in my right ear but pretty much nothing in my left ear (which is not surprising because of a... let's call it a "blockage" on my left side).

After some more focusing on those areas, I could feel them stronger, but nowhere near as strong as for example in my hands and feet.

(My guess is that this is mostly because the underlying nerve structure is not as developed as in the hands/feet. It could perhaps also be that those areas are simply less used?)

Minor update : I'm pretty sure I managed to get a short flash of seeing the aura of one of my hands (or arms?) yesterday.


Since I don't remember being able to do that before, and it was kind of sudden, fear set in and shut it down immediately.


I tried to calm down and do it again, but failed.


The best way to solve the fear issue is probably to just keep trying and getting used to it.
