Projection Prior to Kunda
In a comment by Bruce on the old Astral Dynamic forum, he recommended that a person should first attempt astral projection before committing to raising the Kundalini. According to him, astral projection permanently alters the energy body, making it easier to successfully raise the Kundalini. I have Robert Bruce's courses on Kundalini and Astral Projection, as well as the books Astral Dynamics (revised edition) and Mastering Astral Projection along with the accompanying CD set. However, I find astral projection quite difficult, particularly when it comes to knowing whether I am performing the exit techniques correctly or not.
That being said, I have left my physical body during at least two high doses of DMT. I have been to the Void and another "place." I asked Ea Koetting about the DMT realm because I had read that someone said it was the mental plane, but Ea disagreed with that statement. He said the DMT realm is not a higher plane but rather sideways. However, I think that being separated from the physical body and being in the Void can be counted as "astral projection," although the Void is not necessarily considered the Astral plane, as far as I know.
Jesse, would you say that my experience with DMT has altered my energetic body sufficiently enough as per the recommendation of Bruce?
