Raising Kundalini

Introduction:

Towards the end of the Kundalini video course Robert says that he can hear an all encompassing Aum sound in his ear.

From my research the sounds heard and most commonly mistaken for tinnitus are usually brainwave activity in the ears.

I have always heard the high pitched sound in my ear which is indicative of Gamma Brainwave activity.

All the mystical experiences often accompany a very high hissing/buzzing sound in the ear.

In the last few years however I've heard a low pitched drumming in my left ear kind of like a heart beat.

It's always there and only disappears or reduces in volume after some intense running exercises or around very awake states like the Gamma pitch before an OBE.

From my research Bashar says that this low pitch sound is the Epsilon Frequency which is below Delta and is the underlying frequency that allows higher brain wave activity above Gamma wave to be possible.

He says in a transmission called Bashar's Birthday Gift a method called the Circle of Self Empowerment where one is told to listen to the tones in the head and for 15 minutes every day do an exercise where they listen for the pitches going from the lowest to highest and back to lowest and he says after 3 months one should be able to access whatever state they need whenever they need it.

The Yogananda forums say it's a miracle to hear the low pitch but to try to hear it in the right ear rather than left. One of the reasons they chant Aum so much is to encourage the manifestation of the Aum sound in their heads so they can hear it and meditate on it and as it grows be encompassed by it.

At any given moment I hear a low pitch hum in my left ear only and a high pitch sound across my entire head. I can tune 1 over the other if I wish to some degree.

Question 1:

Using the knowledge I've written I've been trying to hear the low Aum tone in my right ear but it's not really working because I've only recently started and I'm very impatient hah. What would Robert or any one else say about this matter?

Question 2

I also can't trace it's origins as to how this all happened. I remember Roberts words and I am wondering whether or not it was triggered as the result of energy work on the Root Chakra or anything or that nature. I would really like to know more on his perspective because what he said about it doesn't seem like it's a product of him looking for it or meditating on it it seems to have manifested itself as a result of leveling up the Chakras. But I'm also not sure because Robert seems to do many very long sessions for hours.
